We would really like to be able to save copy of All Sent and Received SMS/TEXT messages to an email address for Compliance Archival. We are unable to use the TEXT feature until they can be saved. Alternatively, some integration with SMARSH archival would do the trick.
You could author code which uses a Transactional Email service like: ( SparkPost || SendGrid ) + ( RingCentral Connect Platform Push Notification || RingCentral's New Beta Feature WebHooks ) to accomplish this goal.
AFAIK, we do not have an "off the shelf" solution for this...but that doesn't mean it couldn't be created by you, the RingCentral Professional Services Team, or an outside developer or service of your choosing (if they either worked for you as a contract developer or were an ISV in the RingCentral Partner Program).
If you do not have a developer on staff, and the volume is not so large as to make it cost-prohibitive, you can signup for a Zapier account (https://zapier.com) and then you would need to create two Zaps:
1. New SMS Received to Email (you can do this quickly with the default RingCentral Zapier integration)
2. New SMS Sent to Email (you would need to create a Webhook in RingCentral, and point it to Zapier's Webhook Trigger, then filter the inbound data, and send the email for archival on whichever ESP you choose).
