Click to Dial for Quickbase

Hi,

Our company operates out of a CRM called Quickbase which is built by Intuit. We are a sales company and are heavily focused on customer service. Here is what we would like to see:

It would be great if there was a Click to Dial button that could be integrated into our CRM so that when a record of a customer is pulled up in our Leads or Opportunities table, we can click a "Click to Dial" button that calls the phone number listed in the record information from our desktop phones. This would allow our Customer Service agents to more easily dial out to the correct number on file and do so with ease through the use of a Click to Dial feature.

I noticed that their is a RingCentral Use Case similar such as the one found here: https://developer.ringcentral.com/overview/click-to-dial.html. Quickbase is very functional and allows an open API with URL and Formula URL fields for possible function integrations.

QuickBase (the company) could build this feature into their CRM easier than we could integrate with the UI in their CRM. Please feel free to invite your QuickBase account executive or business development staff member to join in this conversation with RingCentral to officially to become a partner.

What information would you need? I am the admin to the CRM for Quickbase and may have the capability to do or get what you need. I would appreciate any information.

You would need to see if from within the QuickBase administrative console they provide the ability to add telephony or CTI integrations which extend their application's ability to add click to dial as you are asking.

Also, this is going to depend upon if you are the only person who needs this, or if you are trying to implement this for your entire organization.

For the latter, you might need to start by contacting your QuickBase account executive and asking them if it is possible to use a different VOIP provider as the default service for Click to Dial.

Nathan, another Quickbase user here.  If you are using the RingCentral Desktop App (aka 'smartphone'), you can simply highlight the number on any webpage (quickbase record) and press 'F6' to dial.  If you have the RingCentral Desktop App set to RingOut it would ring the deskphone, then dial out.
